First Event
The Secret Gardens of Forest Lawn: Lecture by Rick Leach, Gardening Supervisor

This year we will be hosted by the Gardening Supervisor of Forest Lawn, Rick Leach, who will deliver an informative lecture with slides on the history of the gardens of Forest Lawn and what it takes to maintain and upgrade these treasures.

Second Event:
The Secret Gardens of Forest Lawn: Tour

On this day Rick Leach will take us behind locked gates of the private and secret gardens of Forest Lawn Cemetery. This tour will begin and end in the Forest Lawn Museum parking lot. We will then caravan from the parking lot by car to each of the gardens that will be unlocked just for this tour. The tour will conclude with refreshments on the patio at the Forest Lawn Museum after which we will have a chance to visit its new exhibit, “Women of Vision.”

Note: It is important to know the participants in the tour of the gardens need to be mobile since there are stairs, trip hazards, and no handicap access.
